Healthy 3 Ingredient Cookie

These are the easiest cookies ever as you only need three ingredients; Oats, Banana and chocolate chips. You could even make them for babies from 6 months old, just omit the chocolate chips.

I made these chocolate chip cookies again the other day (with the help of my two year old) , as I quickly needed to prepare a after school snack as my daughter had friends coming over to play. They went down a treat and were all gone in no time!

They are best eaten straight away, and definitely should be eaten the same day as they go a little chewy the next day. This has never been a problem for us!

Healthy 3 Ingredient Cookie

Preparation : 5 min I Cooking: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients:

1 cup of oats

2 ripe bananas

1 handful of chocolate chips

Method:

Preheat the oven to 170.C

Mash the bananas and mix in the oats until well combined. Add chocolate chips.

Form small cookie shaped biscuits and place on an baking tray lined with parchment paper and oiled. The cookies have a tendency to stick.

Create as many cookies as the mixture will allow you. The cookies won’t spread so make them the size you want them to be. This recipe lends itself well to mini cookies and will make 18-20.

Cook in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.

Once ready use a spatula to place on a cooling rack.

Eat as soon as they are cool enough.
